Distance Learning Alliance
The College received its first students in the fall of 1880 and since then
Mississippi State University has been dedicated to three broad
purposes; learning, research, and service. Mississippi State University’s
distance education site is easy to locate; simply go over outreach and
click on Academic Outreach and Continuing Education.  Bachelor online
degree programs include Interdisciplinary Studies, Education, and
Geosciences. Master online degree programs offered at MSU comprise
of Engineering, Business, Interdisciplinary Studies, Public Policy,
Geosciences, and Education.  Doctorate Degree Programs for
Community College Leadership, Engineering, Computer Engineering,
and Electrical Engineering round out their distance learning programs.

The University of Southern
Mississippi
was the state’s first state-supported teacher training

Undergraduate online programs include Construction Engineering
Technology and Nursing.  Graduate Programs offered online through the
school include Child and Family Studies, Educational Administration,
Library and Information Science, Music Education, Sport Management,
Sport Coaching Education and a Master of Arts in the Teaching of
Languages.

The research extensive, doctoral degree-granting University now has
