The University of Nebraska is the state's only public
university.  The University of Nebraska was founded in
1869, less than two years after Nebraska became the
nation's 37th state.  From the University of Nebraska's
main web page, the distance education programs can

Students.  More than 50 online degree and certificate
programs are offered to learners including Applied
Science, Architecture, Biology, Business, Education,
Fine Arts, Library Media, Nursing, and Public
Administration.

Peru State College was founded in 1867 as
Nebraska’s first college and has since emerged from
its role as a teachers’ college to a state college
offering a wide variety of programs to meet the
changing needs of its students.  The distance learning
programs can be easily located under PSC Online,
then click on Programs/Majors.  PSU offers Bachelor
online degrees in Accounting, Business, Marketing,
Psychology, Criminal Justice, and Computer
Science.  Graduate distance learning programs
include Business and Education.
