New Mexico State University opened its doors in the fall of 1888.   
From the main page of the NMSU website, click on Academics and
locate Distance Education Programs from that page.  Undergraduate
programs include Sociology, Business, Criminal Justice, and
Information and Communication Technology.  Graduate programs
include Education, Psychology, Sociology, Spanish, Criminal Justice,
Industrial Engineering, and Nursing.  Several Doctorate online degree
programs are offered through New Mexico State University including
Education and Nursing.

The University of New Mexico now occupies
600 acres along old Route 66 in the heart of Albuquerque. On the
main webpage, you will find the link to the distance education
programs the university offers.  Undergraduate and graduate
distance learning programs include Business, Computer Science,
Education, and Nursing.  Graduate level online programs include
Engineering and Public Administration. The University of New Mexico
also offers a doctoral online program in Nursing.
Search Tips: Make certain that you have triple checked the online
program’s accreditation. First, they tell you what it is, then you go to
that accrediting bodies website (not through the link provided by the
school), and thirdly you would visit the department of education to
see what they have to say. Do your diligent research into the
institutions once you have narrowed down to a couple. You can look
at the Better Business Bureau for more valid information.
