Distance Learning Alliance
The University of South Dakota, the state's oldest university, was
founded in 1862 and has since followed its mission to provide graduate
and undergraduate programs in the liberal arts and sciences as well as in
professional education. Once on the main page, follow the link to USD
A-Z, then click on D, and there you will find the distance learning program
link.  The following programs are offered through distance learning on
the graduate level Organizational Leadership, Interdisciplinary Studies,
Health Services Administration, Business, and Education.

South Dakota State University was founded in 1881, in the Dakota
Territory. Currently, South Dakota State University serves the largest
enrollment of all the public universities in South Dakota.  The distance
education site is easy to locate by going over to Quicklinks and clicking
on distance education.  SDSU offers a variety of programs that can be
completed online.  Check back for new programs as they become
available.  SDSU online degree programs include bachelor degrees in
Interdisciplinary Studies and Nursing.  On the graduate level the school
offers online degrees in Dietetics, Family and Consumer Sciences
Education, Family and Consumer Sciences, Journalism, Chemistry,
Chemical Education Specialization and Nursing.

Dakota State University has enjoyed a long and proud history of
leadership and service since its founding in 1881.  Dakota State
University continues to serve the needs of a changing society in its
second century. In order to provide its academic programs to a broader
audience, DSU has taken a step forward in distance education and offers
courses and academic programs via the Internet.  The DSU website
contains a link to Distance Education on the front page.   Bachelor online
programs include Health Information Administration, Computer
Information Systems, and Management Information Systems.  Graduate
programs offered at a distance at DSU include Information Assurance
(MSIA) Information Systems (MSIS)  Educational Technology (MSET)  
and a doctorate in Information Systems (D.Sc.IS).
